Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Darton
Salary: Up to £45,000

Working Hours:

* Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:30

* Friday: 08:00 – 13:00.

Role Overview:

A hands-on role within a small team responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing Waterjet and other types of machinery. The position also includes general building, electrical, and mechanical maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Service, repair, and maintain Waterjet, router, and other machinery, including setup and operation.

* Carry out general warehouse duties.

* Accurately record maintenance issues in the system.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.

* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations for employees, visitors, and yourself.

* Assist external contractors with related tasks when required.

Required Skills & Experience:

Essential:

* Level 3 qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent.

* Ability to read and interpret technical, mechanical, and electrical drawings.

* Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations.

* Self-motivated, diligent, and analytical mindset.

* PC literacy and ability to use relevant software.

* Proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment.

Desirable:

* Experience in Waterjet / Laser cutting.

* Formal engineering qualification or apprenticeship.

* Knowledge of control systems and their operation.

* Welding / Fabrication skills.

* Experience using manufacturing control systems.

* Valid counterbalance forklift license.

* IPAF certification
