Workshop Manager – Secondary & Architectural Steelwork

We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Workshop Manager for our clients successful and well-established business that specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of a variety secondary and architectural steelwork projects

You will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Workshop Management, ideally within the steelwork industry but other industries will be considered.

Workshop Manager duties include:

* Ensure project deadlines are met by planning, coordinating and overseeing the workflow and production schedules

* Liaise with QC to make sure all products meet the company and customer specifications

* Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments in line with necessary health and safety regulations

* Continually assess and identify any areas of improvement and implement strategies

* Effective Team Leader

Workshop Manager Requirements:

* A minimum of 5 years in a Workshop Management position is essential, ideally within the steelwork industry

* Excellent communication skills

* A strong ability to use Microsoft Office software

* IOSH Managing Safely certificate

* Proven experience of man-management, this role requires you to manage an established team

* Live within/commutable distance of the workshop
