Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver dynamic, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, incorporating both traditional art techniques and modern photography practices.
* Design and implement a well-rounded curriculum that encourages students to experiment with various artistic styles, mediums, and digital photography tools.
* Guide students in developing a strong portfolio of work, preparing them for GCSE and A-Level examinations with an emphasis on creativity, technical skills, and self-expression.
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe to explore and grow artistically.
* Provide constructive feedback to help students refine their skills and achieve their full artistic potential.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified teachers, including ECTs and experienced QTS professionals, are encouraged to apply.
* Experience teaching Art and Photography across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 is ideal.
* Expertise in a wide range of artistic techniques, with strong knowledge in both traditional art and digital photography.
* A creative, inspiring approach to teaching that motivates students to push boundaries and embrace their artistic potential.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with effective classroom management.
A deep passion for supporting students in their artistic journeys, helping them build confidence and develop a love for creative expression.
