You will join a dynamic team of professionals, assessing a number of apprentices through their programme and supporting a range of early careers activities, including interviewing, inductions etc. This is a great opportunity to work with the next generation of Pipe Fabricators, having a direct influence and shaping their careers.
What you will do:
* Deliver outstanding teaching, level 3 learning and assessment practices that engage and inspire learners to fulfil their individual potential and develop the skills.
* Embrace continuous professional development opportunities in support of delivering innovative and impactful teaching, learning and assessment
* Assess and monitor learner progress & performance in line with standards and legislative requirements to ensure occupational competence
* Develop learners that are innovative thinkers and creative problem solvers, through designing and delivering learning content as part of a blended learning pedagogy focused on delivering vocational excellence
Your skills and experiences:
* Coaching and mentoring skills
* Effective interpersonal skills specifically when dealing with welfare/support
* Pipe Fitter/Fabricator qualified
* Military and/or Maritime background would be desirable
