Analytical Chemist

Location – Oxfordshire

The Opportunity:

Our client is a growing Life Science company based in Oxfordshire, who are currently looking to build their R&D team with the addition of an Analytical Chemist. This opportunity will be a full-time role and will support the company in developing ground-breaking approaches to vaccine delivery.

The role:

As an Analytical Chemist you will support with on-going R&D projects, proving analytical support of pharmaceutical samples. Core responsibilities will include:

* Following analytical methods for the analysis of pharmaceutical samples, using HPLC and LCMS.

* Support with analytical method development and validation

* Interpretation and presentation of Analytical data to be utilised to support R&D projects

* Ensure analytical compliance with regulatory and quality standards

* Update standard operating protocols (SOP’s) as required

* Perform additional QC testing and equipment calibration

Suitable applicants:

Our client is looking for candidates who are seeking a collaborative working environment and is able to work cross-functionally with internal teams, to achieve project success. Suitable applicants will have:

* Prior industry experience in an Analytical position, ideally analysing pharmaceutical samples

* Experience with HPLC and LCMS

* Experience working within a GMP laboratory environment

* Prior experience in analytical method development and validation would be advantageous

* Familiarity with chromatography equipment calibration
