We’re growing and looking for a full-time proactive and ambitious Sales and Business Development Executive to help us drive new business opportunities and build long-term client partnerships within the sector of temporary staffing solutions.
The Role: Sales Executive - Temporary Recruitment
You’ll be a self-starter and on the front foot - identifying leads, generating new business, and supporting the development of client relationships within temporary recruitement. This role is all about finding opportunities and converting them, through phone outreach, face-to-face meetings, and structured and targeted prospecting.
Key Responsibilities:

Proactively identify and target new business opportunities across logistics, warehousing, and industrial sectors.
*
Prospect a targeted number of new potential clients each week within the temporary staffing sector.
*
Conduct client meetings and confidently present Nextra’s recruitment solutions.
*
Build and maintain client relationships with a deep understanding of hiring needs.
*
Negotiate and close deals with commercial awareness.
*
Use Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word to prepare proposals and presentations.
*
Collaborate with recruitment and finance teams to deliver staffing solutions quickly and efficiently using in-house and third party systems.
*
Monitor market activity and competitor movements.
*
Maintain accurate records of all activity and client interactions.
What We’re Looking For:
*
MUST HAVE Sales experience, ideally in recruitment, staffing solutions, or B2B services.
*
A hunter mentality - confident generating leads, cold calling, and door knocking.
*
Strong communication skills
*
Well-organised, self-disciplined, and driven to hit targets.
*
Fluent spoken and written English.
*
Good commercial awareness and an understanding of client needs.
*
Full, clean UK driving licence and flexibility to travel as this role will involve on-the-road prospecting.
