Engineering Maintenance Planner - London
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Maintenance Planner, to work for an established M&E maintenance customer of ours.
You will work directly with the engineering team to develop comprehensive maintenance plans, outlining PPM schedules, reactive maintenance and quoted works projects, considering client requirements, job specifications, and regulatory compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of maintenance services.
* Monitor maintenance schedules, prioritize reactive maintenance requests, and coordinate service visits to minimize downtime and disruption to clients’ operations.
* Identify potential risks to maintenance contracts/projects, such as equipment failures, resource shortages, or health and safety hazards, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
* Facilitate communication among maintenance teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure clear and timely exchange of information, compliance with contractual requirements, and resolution of issues.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including Job logic, inspection reports, and project documentation
* Monitor KPIs for maintenance contracts / projects, such as PPM compliance, response times, resolution rates, and client satisfaction scores, to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project/contract goals and objectives.
* Facilitate departmental meetings, including agenda creation, facilitation, and follow-up on action items.
* Conduct regular maintenance contract / project status reviews and provide updates to stakeholders.
* Anticipate and address potential conflicts or bottlenecks that may impede project progress.
* Continuously assess and improve contract management processes and methodologies.
* Manage the end-to-end invoicing process, including invoice generation, tracking, and reconciliation, liaising with the accounts department, to ensure accurate and timely billing and payment.
Benefits:

Skills and Knowledge
* Minimum qualifications for this role are:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business management/NVQ Level (E)
* 2-5 years of experience in planning and coordination in Mechanical Maintenance field(E).
* Knowledge and hands-on experience on CMMS / CAFM systems, preferably Job Logic.
* Ability to establish good relationships with internal and external team members.
* Good levels of verbal and written communication skills.
* A track record of building effective teams, forming positive and motivational relationships.
* Research and reporting skills, able to review information and present it in an accessible way.
* Ability to maintain accurate records and use a range of digital packages to communicate strategic and operational information.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
