Job Title: Workshop Supervisor

Location: Ellesmere Port

Salary: Depending on experience

Job type: Full Time, 8.30 - 5.00 Monday to Thursday 8.30 - 4.00 Friday.

The Candidate:

Must be able to work unsupervised in a busy environment. The candidate should be methodical, carrying out and supervising the throughput of a workshop which services industrial and contract customers.

Minimum 2 year experience of working in a fast paced environment
Effective organisational skills
Attention to detail and a high standard of work
Proven ability and aptitude as an electrician
Previously worked on distribution units and switch gear and knowledge of the construction industry is also desirable.
City & Guilds 2360/2330 Parts 1&2 – or equivalent
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation – or equivalent
BS7671 17th Edition Test & Inspection 2391 or equivalent is desirable
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Assembling and testing a wide range of electrical plant such as MDA and various switchgear and site temporary electrical products.
Technical supervisory knowledge so as to be able to work on own proficiently and carry out fault finding and service without supervision in the most efficient and economical manner.
Comply with Company Health & Safety Policy including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.
Benefits:

20 days holiday rising to 25 days after 5 yrs.
Finish at 4 on a Friday.
