The Print & Vinyl Signage Installer is responsible for the installation of various types of signage, including vinyl graphics, printed materials, banners, vehicle wraps, and other custom signs. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong sense of craftsmanship, technical skills, and an eye for precision. You will be working both in-house and on-site at various locations, ensuring that the signage is properly installed, aligned, and meets the company’s quality standards. During downtime you will also be required to work in the Studio.

Working hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm but flexibility is required due to working off site.

Key Responsibilities:

* Installation of Vinyl Signage: Apply vinyl lettering, decals, wraps, and large-format prints to vehicles, windows, walls, and other surfaces both indoors and outdoors.

* Print Signage Installation: Install printed banners, posters, and other materials in designated locations such as buildings, events, and trade shows.

* Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, measuring, and applying appropriate materials to ensure proper adhesion and longevity of signage.

* Sign Assembly: Assemble signs and other related structures, ensuring that all components are properly fitted and functional.

* Vehicle Wraps: Apply full or partial vehicle wraps, ensuring precision and high-quality finishes.

* On-Site Installations: Travel to client locations to perform installations, including the use of ladders, scaffolding, or lifts, ensuring that the signage is installed securely and safely.

* Quality Control: Inspect installations for accuracy, alignment, and professional appearance. Make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.

* Client Interaction: Communicate with clients during installations to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns.

* Maintenance & Repairs: Perform maintenance or repairs on existing signage when necessary, ensuring it remains in top condition.

* Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), when working with tools, materials, and at heights.

Qualifications:

* Experience: 1-3 years of experience in vinyl and print signage installation, or similar fields such as graphic installation or vehicle wrapping.

* Technical Skills: Proficiency in working with vinyl cutting machines, large-format printers, and application tools (squeegees, heat guns, etc.).

* Attention to Detail: Strong precision and attention to detail to ensure flawless alignment, cutting, and application.

* Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy signage materials, stand for extended periods, and work at heights (e.g., using ladders or lifts).

* Driving License: Valid driver’s license required to travel to different installation sites.

* Work Environment: Ability to work indoors and outdoors, sometimes in adverse weather conditions.

* Team Player: Ability to work as part of a team or independently to complete jobs in a timely manner.

* Problem-Solving Skills: Quick thinking to resolve installation challenges and troubleshoot any issues that arise on-site.
