The Company
Our client, a Tier 1 Contractor in the UK, is currently offering an interesting opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor to join them on an exciting civils water project. The company is one of the leading Infrastructure contractors working in the market today and has an excellent track record of delivering world-class Civil Engineering projects.
The Role
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of the project, ensuring all works are executed safely, within the programme, and to the highest quality standards. You will ensure a safe working environment for both internal and external (sub-contractors) teams. You will provide guidance and expertise on mechanical project requirements, including commissioning and interfacing with existing equipment. You will be responsible for the delivery of mechanical site installation works on allocated projects and ensure all work is completed correctly and to the required standards. Liaising and working with the management team.
About you
You will have experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in the water industry or other heavy Civil Engineering projects, ideally from a tier 1 background. The most successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be adept at managing and coordinating teams, and be able to demonstrate how to create and maintain a safe working environment.
