Employing around 70 people at their West Yorkshire site, this business is part of a manufacturing group with over 300 employees across the UK. With a site turnover of £15M, this impressive manufacturing business has recently invested into a number of brand-new machines to improve their machining capabilities. Due to continued growth and demand of their products and services, this employer are actively searching for a HAAS CNC Turner to join their team on a permanent basis.

Based in Bradford, the HAAS CNC Turner can easily commute from Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Dewsbury and Halifax on public transport or by personal vehicle.

The HAAS CNC Turner will:

Be creating bespoke programmes using ISO/G&M coded machine controls
Working directly from 2D & 3D engineering drawings and often from physical components/prototypes
Be adaptable and comfortable introducing new products, machining strategies and programming techniques to ensure as efficient machining process as possible

The HAAS CNC Turner will have:

Previous experience working in a similar role as a Machinist, Programmer, Engineer or Technician within a high precision machine shop environment, sub-contract or direct
The ability to create bespoke programmes online and offline using machine controls
Excellent machining knowledge and confidence in their own ability, able to make technical decisions on machining strategies when introducing new products/prototypes

Details of the HAAS CNC Turner role:

Renumeration: Up to £33,786.48 per annum (£16.66 per hour)
Working Hours: 37 Hours per week - permanent day shifts
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 16:00
Friday: 07:30 to 12:30
Overtime: Frequently available during the week and on Saturday AM
Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days (25 days + 8 public holidays)
Company Life Assurance: 3x Annual P60 earnings
