The Recruitment Group are proudly working in partnership with a independent provider of hydraulic accessories who are seeking a skilled manual deburrer to join their reputable company. Reporting directly to the machine shop Manager, the successful candidate will work within a small team and will be trained in the use of tools to remove any swarf left on the products, ensuring they meet the requisite quality needs.

Benefits: 

Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, and Fridays 07:00 to 12:30
Salary is negotioable dependent on experinece

Key Responsibilities :

Deburr and hand finish parts as required by using established procedures, machines and tooling.
Visual inspection of parts to ensure each meets the requirements of the drawing.
To communicate any issues relating to production, informing of parts not being to tolerance
Final inspections, working to a high level of quality control to avoid customer dissatisfaction and potential returns.
Clean parts in preparation of CMM inspection.
Maintain and complete all documentation for all production work, as required.
Maintain effective housekeeping of equipment and work area.
Work in accordance of the quality system and processes of the department.
Assist in other Production duties as required.
Observe all site Health and Safety requirements.
Management may, from time to time, require you to carry out other tasks in addition to your normal duties, provided these tasks are both reasonable and within your capabilities.
Experience Required: 

Experience of working in a fast-paced environment (ideally production-based)
Experience working as a Deburrer/ Fettler/ Fabricator/ Metal Finisher 
A desire to learn a new skill and develop within a successful company
Strong verbal and written communication
Experience of working within a small team
Ability to follow instructions.
