Job Title: Transport Planner

Location: Redditch

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm 1 hour lunch

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Skills and Experience Needed:

* A minimum of 2 years’ UK route planning experience, preferably within a multi drop delivery environment

· Proven experience in a similar position

· MS outlook and MS Office - full proficiency in Word and Excel

· Using Database systems (desired)

· Working within a fast-paced environment

Duties will Include:

· Chasing drivers for outstanding paperwork when required

* Day to day Route Planning & Scheduling

· To raise route notifications for the movement of loads.

· To promptly answer telephone calls within the department.

· Ensuring that all driver run sheets and relevant information is complete.

· General administrative tasks to provide support to the Operations team deliver a high level of customer service.
