Our client, a dynamic leader within their field, are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their busy distribution centre in Uxbridge

The successful candidate will be an experienced and motivated individual. You will be a key member of the mid-management team and will be assist leading the warehouse team. You will aid the development of this busy centre and supervise members of staff including machine operators and warehouse staff ensuring maximum productivity and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities

* Planning, picking, coordinating and monitoring daily operations.

* Motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met.

* Keeping regular stock control checks up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy

* Ensuring quality control at all times

* Maintaining standards of health and safety and security in the work environment

* Flexibility and willingness to work overtime as is required paid at 1 ¼ time

Key Requirements

* Proven people management skills - The ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team.

* Forklift Proficiency - Proficiency in operating both counterbalance and reach forklift trucks.

* Leadership Skills - Strong initiative and decisiveness.

* Excellent at problem-solving – Meet tight deadlines with the ability to multitask.

* Ability to work under pressure – Able work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

This is a demanding role that will require 100% commitment from the successful candidate. Long hours, overtime paid, will be required to ensure the goals are met.
