Our client is a leading Engineering company recognized for its innovation and excellence in lifting and handling equipment. With a commitment to quality and precision, they are expanding their team and looking for a skilled Parts Supervisor to join their operations.
Job Responsibilities:
* Supervising the unloading of deliveries whether it be with the FLT or Manual Handling and ensuring all health and safety regulations are met. Also assessing the new stock to ensure all products received are all in good quality and any damages are reported immediately.
* Managing stock levels on a regular basis and ensuring there is sufficient supply to the workshop and aftersales to ensure machines are dispatched / repairs are completed efficiently.
* liaising with suppliers and where necessary keeping costs down in regards to incoming goods / logistics and delivery fees.
* Regularly updating the system with relevant data for the incoming stock and carrying out annual stock checks.
* Attending regular meetings with the Operations Manager to report on stock levels and monthly stock status reports.
* Continued housekeeping of the stock and despatch areas.
Job Requirements:
* Past experience within a stores position.
* Ideally come from an Engineering background.
* Must have good time management and a UK Driving Licence.
Hours:
Mon – Thurs 8am – 5pm
Friday 8am – 2pm
