SEND Quality Assurance Manager
3 month contract (potential to extend)
£350 per day (Inside IR35)

Reporting To: SEND Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEND Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to manage and lead the SEND Quality Assurance Framework, ensuring high-quality Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the SEND Quality Assurance Framework and processes, ensuring consistency and high standards in EHCPs.
Lead and coordinate the multi-agency Quality Assurance Group to monitor and evaluate the quality of EHCPs through regular audits.
Collaborate with multi-agency teams to identify areas for improvement, provide feedback, and drive continuous improvement across the service.
Work closely with the SEND Head of Service to report on the quality of EHCPs to the SEND Improvement Board, presenting audit findings, trends, and recommendations.
Support in the development and implementation of strategies that improve the delivery of EHCPs, ensuring they meet statutory requirements and the needs of children and young people.
Provide expert advice and guidance on best practices related to SEND quality assurance and EHCP processes.
Experience:

Proven experience in managing SEND processes, including EHCPs.
Strong understanding of SEND legislation and statutory guidance.
Extensive experience in quality assurance, auditing, and reporting, preferably in an educational or social care setting.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire colleagues at all levels.
Ability to analyse complex information and provide clear, actionable insights to improve service delivery.
