The Engineering Technician position is a critical role in a dynamic food manufacturing environment, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving the performance of machinery and equipment.

Description

Carry out routine machinery checks and maintenance.
Respond to equipment faults and perform necessary repairs.
Implement improvements to enhance machinery performance and reliability.
Ensure safety regulations are met at all times.
Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Support the training of other team members when necessary.22:00 - 06:00 (8 HOURS)

Profile

A successful Engineering Technician/Maintenance Engineer should have:

A recognised Engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, Multi-Skilled - Level 3 minimum)
17th edition
Familiarity with PLC's, general electrical control & control systems
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team
Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasksJob Offer

Up to £45,000 Basic + 35% Shift Allowance
