Overview of role
Our client's International Arbitration department specialises in complex international disputes, including commercial and investment treaty arbitration across diverse jurisdictions.
The firm are seeking a Spanish speaking Litigation NQ Solicitor with international arbitration experienced gained from a reputable law firm.
Familiarity with arbitration law and practice is essential. Prior experience in investment treaty arbitration is highly desirable.
Fluency in Spanish is critical for this role.
Responsibilities
The successful Litigation NQ Solicitor can expect to handle the following:
Legal research and analysis on complex arbitration issues
Draft key procedural and substantive documents, including pleadings and witness statements
Draft substantive correspondence and legal memoranda
Liaise with co-counsel and experts, building strong professional relationships
Assist in the preparation and conduct of hearings, including witness interviews, expert reports and the organisation of evidence
Represent the firm at client meetings and contribute to case strategy discussions
Supervise the work of paralegals and trainee solicitors
Engage in business development activities

Required
Fluency in Spanish - essential
Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales, NQ - 1 PQE (Trainees qualifying in early 2025 are encouraged to apply)
