At the LTE Group we have an exciting opportunity for a Skills and Growth Director to join the Group Strategy and Business Development Team on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis.
What we are looking for:
The landscape for skills and workforce development is changing with the advent of Skills England, greater devolution, and changes to the introduction of a Growth and Skills Levy. LTE's Skills and Growth Director will be responsible for engaging and developing strategic partnerships with large employers and supply chains, as well as Greater Manchester and NW Regional stakeholders. The role will significantly contribute to the business development activities across the LTE Group by identifying and creating high-value partnerships with businesses to support the work of the Group and our key services and brands - including Total People, UCEN Manchester, The Manchester College, MOL and Novus.
This is a strategic and relationship-based sales role, focused on Greater Manchester and the wider North West of England. The post holder will be responsible for increasing our reach with businesses, developing new partnerships, innovative learning offers and increasing the number of work-based learners our group supports.
The skills and experience required for the role of Skills and Growth Director include:
Proven track record in business-to-business sales and business development leadership within a customer-centric organisation, preferably in the education, skills, or employment-focused environment.
Experience in developing and enhancing commercial partnerships with key stakeholder and client groups.
Proven ability to build and maintain commercial relationships with blue-chip employers.
Strong understanding of the changing education and skills landscape and experience driving growth in this area.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.About Us
