CERT Solutions is collaborating with a special school in Erdington that is seeking a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support students aged 11-19 with Autism, complex needs, and Social, Emotional, and mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-to-one support for students with SEN, tailoring assistance to their individual needs

* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment

* Assist with personal care as required, ensuring the dignity and comfort of students

* Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement personalised learning plans

* Use de-escalation strategies and behaviour management techniques effectively

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with SEN children in a school or similar setting

* A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting students with additional needs

* Willingness to assist with personal care when necessary

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

Location: Erdington, Birmingham
Job Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
Salary: £90-100 per day
