Interim Financial Accountant - 12-Month FTC
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Salary: Up to £50,000 + benefits

Our client is seeking a skilled Interim Financial Accountant to join a dynamic finance team in Welwyn Garden City on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is perfect for a proactive and detail-oriented accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make an impact within a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
As part of the finance team, your main focus will be managing and reconciling transactions across multiple legal entities within the EMEA region. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial data, supporting month-end close processes, and preparing various reports.

* Intercompany Transactions: Ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of intercompany balances across EMEA.
* Month-End Processes: Assist in the preparation of accruals, journal postings, and reconciliation of control accounts.
* Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors as needed.
* Financial Reporting: Contribute to statutory reporting and provide support for financial consolidation in line with IFRS.
* Process Improvement: Drive improvements in accounting processes and maximise the efficiency of financial systems.

Experience:
* Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/AAT or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting and financial controls.
* Experience in working with large, multi-entity organisations.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
* Highly organised, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
