You’ll be very hands on working in state-of-the-art kitchens in manufacturing environment, working on short shelf-life products with a brilliant team of product innovators and chefs.

The Candidate.

* The right New Product Development Manager for this role will be able to exemplify successful product launches within a chilled and/or fresh category.

* Knowing the stage gate process is a given.

* Experience in the expectations of UK retailers is essential to this role. Some retailers are more demanding than others.

* This business works with all the major retailers, and you will be customer facing.

* Ideally you will be able to communicate cross functionally, analysing stage gate processes in line with customer and company expectations.

* A passion for innovation and a forward-thinking attitude will certainly take you far within this business.

* Managing and motivating teams.

The Role.

* As the NPD Manager you will be working closely with the customers, you will gain an understanding of their expectations and ensure the highest standards are delivered.

* The Head of New Product Development will be working on business strategies and will require your support in ensuring these are launched effectively.

* Develop teams of technologists and help them climb the ladder.

* There will be an expectation to keep up to date with all the current trends within your category.

* You will be collaborating with key stakeholders/head of departments to make sure all products that are developed are commercially viable.

* Successful deliver on concept, creation, and development, working cross functionally.

* Role will report into the Head of NPD and have a team of 6 people reporting in.
