Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 17:00pm)

Are you an experienced Freight Forwarder, looking for a new opportunity to grow and develop with an established and highly regarded Logistics Company? Then this role could be for you!

My client is looking for an experienced Air, Ocean and/or Road Freight Forwarder to join their team based in Belfast. The right candidate will have previous experience working for a UK or Irish based Freight Forwarder or Haulier and have knowledge of Import and Export operations.

Opportunity for growth and development within the company Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day Multi-Modal Freight Forwarding operations, start-to-finish, for both Import and Export jobs.
Raising Job files and all of the appropriate operations paperwork
Ensure completion of consignments by monitoring from collection to delivery.
Supplier and client liaison and negotiation.
Internal liaison with the sales team assisting with quotations and service information.
Managing the jobs from quotation stage to final invoicing in line with the client expectations and communicating effectively any service issues.
Proactively contacting the existing clients to maximise business potential.Requirements:

Freight Forwarding Operations experience is essential.
Experience with Air Freight, Sea Freight and Road Freight Operations.
Import and Export experience.
Customs experience is desirable.
Previous experience in a Transport Planning position would be desirable, but not essential.
