Up to £44,500 (£22p/hr) – Permanent Afters

Overtime at x1.5 over 39 hours, 22 days holiday, Rotherham S63, mornings and afters

Machine Shop Team Leader; the job

To lead, motivate and support an afternoon shift of CNC millers and turners.

Your team will be machining high tolerance components in Nickel, Stainless Steel and Titanium for global chemical production equipment providers and sub-sea equipment.

You will be available to prove parts out, resolve turning and milling issues, organise shifts and provide technical support to all operators.

Machine Shop Team Leader; requirements

You will have technical competency and experience with a range of machines.

Machines on site include Hurco VMX24 & VMX42, Brother Milling machines with pneumatic/hydraulic clamping, Doosan Pumas C and C&Y -axis milling, tail-stock and sub spindle, Victor V6 as well as Fanuc and Heidenhain controlled lathes and several sliding head lathes and so experience of these will be preferred.

This is an ideal role for an experienced miller / turner with supervisory experience who is ready for the next step in their career.

The Machine Shop Team Leader is a permanent afternoon shift and benefits include

Salary of up to £44,500 (£22p/hr) plus overtime if wanted

Overtime paid at x1.5 p/hr for anything over 39hrs

Shifts are 2pm – 10pm (8 hrs Mon-Thurs and 7 hrs Friday)
