Page Personnel are recruiting for a Payroll Team Leader on behalf of one of the UK's most recognisable brands.

This role will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely payroll for over 35,000 people across the business.

You will also play a key role in mentoring & leading the wider payroll team.

Description

Payroll Team Leader duties include:

Ensuring the completion of payrolls for 35,000 colleagues over 43 payrolls, including 5 Offshore payrolls, over weekly, lunar and monthly pay frequencies
Ensuring the team are meeting key deadlines and SLA's to a high quality
Promoting best practice and ensuring the team are keeping our colleagues at the centre of what they do
Training the team on payroll processing and legislative changes, monitoring their performance and helping them develop in their careers.
Proactively keeping an eye on trends in queries and liaising with key stakeholders across the business to resolve issues at source
You'll be the go-to person for guidance and support both within the team and across the business.Profile

The successful candidate will:

Have a proven track record in a similar role
Have knowledge of working with high volume payrolls
Be CIPP qualified - beneficial
Have mentoring / supervisory experience
Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
Be able to work to tight deadlines
Have a high level of attention to detailJob Offer
