Looking for someone who is resilient, positive, hardworking and confident enough to to ensure food safety and deliver bad news when products fail quality testing and cannot be released on time!

Key job responsibilities include

* Carry out accurate and reproducible test bakes (Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other

* equipment to make baked goods)

* Test ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food

* safety and quality controls.

* Analysing test bakes, writing reports, and feeding back findings, keeping

* written documentation of all stages

* Support complaints/failures investigations as required carrying out test

* bake on finished goods, presenting back findings and next steps to line

* manager/ internal customers via email and on Teams calls/in person

* Hitting time pressures to release products

* Record and monitor cleaning and temperature records in accordance with

* legislation and internal policy.

* Working towards learning ingredient functionality and owning projects with an overall aptitude for learning with the aim to be a subject matter expert for bakery ingredient & formulation
