Design Engineer - Medical Simulation Products | Bristol | Up to £50k

My client, a global leader in medical simulation technology, is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join their innovative product development team in Bristol. With a £30M turnover and ambitious growth plans, this is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge medical training devices.

Location: Bristol City Centre (BS2), near Temple Meads Pattern: Office-based with 1 day WFH per week

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop new medical simulation products from prototype to production

* Create and manage CAD files and documentation using Solidworks

* Produce high-quality working prototypes and manage their testing

* Work collaboratively with project leads and engineering teams

* Create detailed product specifications and assembly instructions

* Liaise with external suppliers and in-house tooling teams

* Contribute to product evaluation and modification processes

* Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) for new product development

Requirements:

* Minimum 4 years' product development experience

* Strong Solidworks CAD proficiency

* Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or Design Engineering

* Proven track record in solving complex design challenges

* Creative approach to problem-solving

* Excellent communication and visualization skills

* Strong organizational abilities

* Experience working with manufacturing teams and suppliers

* Ability to work to deadlines and specifications

Package:

* Salary up to £50k
