Search² is delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a quality-driven Health and Safety & HR services provider looking to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to join their business.

Location & Travel
This is a full-time, permanent role. The role is hybrid - this will be a mixture of being field based (approx 3.5 / 4 days of the week) and home based (1 - 1.5 days a week). The companies Head Office is East Midlands based, which you would be expected to attend approximately once a month. 

The role is predominantly field based. A large portion of these clients are based in the Midlands, however, the company service clients across England. Therefore, national travel should be expected. You will be completely in charge of your own diary and therefore can plan your visits accordingly, including 'clustering' your visits in certain locations to ensure that you can manage your travel practically and efficiently.

The company will proactively support you with CPD/Qualifications and your professional memberships
This will give you the opportunity to experience different industry sectors which will add value to your immediate and future career. What you will be doing:

Initially being enrolled in the business's thorough induction period to ensure that you are comfortable and confident in carrying out your role
Shadowing teammates to understand how they operate and what your role will look like in the future
Gradually taking responsibility for building relationships with clients and visiting them at their premises around the South East of England. 
Supporting client businesses mostly within industrial sectors and providing them with a bespoke service to help them improve the welfare and safety of their employees
Carrying out audits/risk assessments of client sites.
Educating clients that may have little to zero experience of managing safety on how they can adapt their workspaces and practices to ensure safe operating in the future. What you will need:

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent H&S qualification as a minimum 
Fire Risk Assessment experience, in addition to a Fire Safety / Fire Risk qualification (i.e Registered fire risk assessor)
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across multiple sites around England 
Willingness to stay overnight when required (approx once a month)  Interested?
