Production Planning Manager | Permanent | Sleaford | Excellent Salary
Cherry are looking for a dynamic Production Planning Manager for a forward thinking and expanding FMCG company. You will take a lead role and oversee the planning function to ensure production schedules fulfil customer fore-casted requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate the existing processes within production planning to look for opportunities to drive efficiencies
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and streamline processes
• Overseeing the planning of production using IFS liaising with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Ensuring that a good quality service is provided and that all products meet the ISO 9001 standard.
• Define and create comprehensive weekly production plan
• Proactively review planning efficiencies in line with company KPIs and to support business growth
• Develop strategies to streamline business processes
• Oversee the management and development of the planning team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the effective management of the production planning function

• Proven experience in planning management within a food manufacturing environment
• Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent communication skills, with a positive approach towards problem solving
• Knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Visio etc)
• Ability to thrive in an often fluid/changing manufacturing environment.
• Collaborative leadership approach
