Area to be covered: Scotland

Remuneration: £35,000 - £40,000 + £5,000 - £8,000 uncapped commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Plastic Building Products will involve:

* Area Sales Manager position selling a range of plastic building products such as: fascia & soffit, rainwater cladding, guttering and panel products

* 60% of your time will be managing / selling to distributors & merchants such as: Rembrand Timber, Jewson, A1, Specialist PVC Distributors etc

* The remaining 40% will be spent stimulating demand and selling to housebuilders, developers and contractors (all back sold through the distribution channel)

* Turnover responsibility circa £5m

* 90% account management

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager –Plastic Building Products with:

* Ideally working for a distributor / merchants looking for your first field sales role

* Would consider someone working for or selling to merchants / distributors

* Would consider a contractor led sales person

* Open in terms of what building materials / products you’ve sold

* Team player, self-motivated and outgoing

* Driven, enthusiastic, focused
