The Company

Our client is a specialist manufacturing company. For maternity cover they are recruiting for a Quality Officer.

The Role

* Will be site based.

* You will perform QA activities supporting the overall quality management system, in accordance with ISO 9001/GMP guidelines.

* Maintain, monitor and review all QA activities in the site quality management system, driving quality compliance actions to completion.

* Batch document review and approval of final product to end markets.

* Provide QA approval on change controls, deviations, OOS, complaints.

* Provide support for internal and external audits.

* Generate quality technical agreements, using effective communication with end customers and distributors.

* Take part in customer meetings where applicable.

* Coordinate with the wider organisation on customer complaints, deviations and QMS related activities.

* Perform review and approval of validation protocol and reports.

* Act as delegate for Quality manager in all QA aspects, where required.

The Person

* Will have experience in a similar role withing manufacturing.

* You must have a keen interest in science.

* ISO 9001/GMP guidelines experience is essential.

* Good communication and organisation skills.

* Computer literature with good word and excel skills.

* Ability to solve problems and prioritise workload.

* Good attention to detail.

* Will be willing to work on a FTC.
