Job Opportunity: Software Control Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Control Engineer to join our clients dynamic team and play a key role in the design, development, and continuous improvement of software applications for the automation and control of advanced machinery.
In this exciting position, you will:
Design and develop software for machinery control and automation systems.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical and mechanical engineers, to deliver innovative solutions.
Lead software development activities throughout the product lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery.
Collaborate with manufacturing and laboratory teams to support on-site operations and customer projects.
Create and maintain supporting documentation such as BoMs, reports, and user guides.
Key Requirements:
Extensive experience with LabVIEW and Windows IoT.
Proven track record of designing control software for machinery.
Strong knowledge of hardware integration and industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, TwinCAT, CANopen preffered).
Familiarity with PLC, stepper motors, and variable frequency drives is ideal.
Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or Python is highly desirable.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, low volume, high-value manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Experience with UI design, schematic design, and CE Marking.
Familiarity with software tools such as P4V, E3 Electrical Engineering, Sage X3 MRP, and SolidWorks is a plus.
