Contek Recruitment are currently working with a well-established engineering company based in Oldham. Due to company growth, they are now looking for a CNC Miller to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Our client has been operating for over 30 years, and serve a couple of specialist industries.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (07:45am until 17:00pm) and Friday (07:30am until 14:00pm) - Consistent overtime is available and paid at time-and-a-third.

Pay: £16-20 per hour, dependent on experience. Our client would consider candidates with either programming or setting experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Working on Haas CNC milling machinery to machine parts and components for tooling, such as presses.

* Reading and understanding technical engineering drawings.

* Programming using Haas controls at the machine (making adjustments and editing if the candidate has no full programming expeirence).

* Machining bespoke and one-off parts.

* Keeping the work area clean and tidy, in line with health and safety standards.

Requirements:

* Previous experience within CNC milling is required.

* Previous experience working on Haas machinery is preferred.

* Able to read and understand a range of technical engineering drawings.
