My client is looking for 1 x Auto and 1 x  Manual Peening Machine Operator based in Slough.

This is a temp to perm role, paying up to £12.50ph - £16.50ph DOE + holiday + pension. + healthcare.

The Manual Peening Machine Operator is responsible for:

• Set up and operate a peening machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.

• Read and interpret Job cards/techniques and diagrams to select, position and peen products according to the relevant Specification.

• Ability to follow and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.

• Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

• Work under immediate supervision.

• Operate/monitor multiple pieces of manual equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops

• Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
