Are you an experienced Designer with expertise in roof trusses and other timber components, ready to join an industry leading engineering company, where your skills in delivering efficient technical drawings will be rewarded with excellent pay and career progression?

On offer is the opportunity for a days based Monday to Friday role, that will also look to enhance your skills with training towards estimating.

This is an industry-leading company, who specializes in the design, manufacture, and supply of timber structures, utilising the latest machinery and design software. This company dedicates itself to providing the best service, whether it's housing or commercial, a high density development or a complex, custom-made structure. which has earned them a large and loyal customer base across West Yorkshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in wood manufacturing, and has the ability to build rapport with customers as well as having technical knowledge and experience in Roof Truss and Post-Joist Design.

The Role:

Working on projects of variable sizing and complexity
Designing wooden Posi Joists and roof trusses
Interpreting and producing technical drawings to maximise material efficiency, producing longevity
Liaising with clients
Estimating drawings for quotations
The Person:

Experience designing bespoke products and structures
Experience using design software
Experience designer roof trusses or similar structural supporting components
