QUALITY INSPECTOR AND ASSEMBLER

The successful candidate will have worked in an engineering environment with hands-on experience in Inspection. Experience with Marine Turbocharger arena would be an advantage.

Quality Inspector Main Duties & Responsibilities:

* Detailed inspection of all components upon entry using onsite precision measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers etc…

* Pre-process and final inspection checks of assembled components

* Assembling of components according to internal processes (will be taught within the role)

* Balancing of rotors

* Calibration logging of tooling and inspection

* Recording information for audit purposes

* Carrying out internal audits (this item is progressive and will be taught within the role)

* Traceability and process improvement management

The following skills are required

* Attention to detail.

* Strong problem-solving skills & Excellent communication skills

* Ability to read technical engineering drawings and specifications.

* Able to multitask and work under pressure to deliver to deadlines.

* Able to generate inspection reports and articulate issues to management team.
