Carpenters required to work with Newcastle based local council to carry out reactive and planned repairs.

My client requires an experienced, professional and hard-working Carpenters to carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance on domestic social housing properties across the Newcastle region.

Work will include replacing doors, skirting, architraves, kitchen repairs and other replated carpentry repairs work.

Start date: Asap

Location: South Gosfourth Newcastle

Hours: 37 per week

Pay rate: £17.50 - £18 ph (depending on qualifications)

Duration: 6 months

Job type: Temp contract paid weekly

Requirements:

Minimum NVQ L2 or City & Guilds in Carpentry (Time served maybe considered)

Experience of working as a Carpenter in the building trade either as a Carpenter or as a multi-skilled Carpenter

Experience of working for a Social Housing, housing association or council

Full driving License is ideal but not essential
