Role – Deputy Financial Controller AKA VP Finance, Deputy CFO, Finance Director

Location -  Central London 4 days office

Salary – to 160K + Excellent bonus / benefits

The role

You will oversee key financial functions and drive department efficiency. In this pivotal role, you will manage:

Management Information
Budgeting & Financial Planning
Financial & Regulatory Reporting
Financial System MaintenanceYou’ll also lead initiatives to streamline processes and improve overall department performance within a global banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the Month-end closing and AEOI reporting
Support Management Information production
Develop system models for Budgeting & Financial Planning
Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
Act as Backup RSO for the SWIFT system
Collaborate on committees such as ORMC, FIVG, and SCVWGKey Requirements:

Local experience and 10 years’ banking experience is essential
At least 5-6 years’ experience managing a team
ACCA/ACA qualified with strong technical accounting skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel (Power BI is a plus)
Solid experience in Budgeting, Forecasting, and Regulatory Reporting
Attention to detail and strong leadership capabilities
