Role Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist to join a forward-thinking Stroke & Neurology community team. This role involves managing a complex caseload, delivering high-quality, person-centred care to patients in their own homes and community settings across Havering and Barking & Dagenham.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialist assessment and rehabilitation for patients with stroke and other neurological conditions

*

Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to support recovery and maximise independence

*

Work closely within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) and contribute to holistic patient care

*

Provide supervision and support to junior staff and contribute to service development

Essential Criteria:

*

HCPC registered Occupational Therapist

*

Proven experience in stroke and/or neurology rehabilitation

*

Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills

*

Must be a car driver with access to a vehicle for community visits
