Role – CAD Operator role
Location – Based close to Diss, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time hours
Salary –£28,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience
Capacity of role – Permanent position

Our client is a local manufacturer who is looking to expand their workforce with the addition of CAD Operators
Applicants will have previous working experience with 2D/3D Practices,
Main duties will include –
 Compiling 2D CAD CAM Drawings based on customer blueprints or from existing data
 Nesting of parts for Laser cutting and manufacturing
 Prepare necessary machine programs and drawings for manufacturing
• Maintaining stock and material records
• Support workshop/sales staff with technical information

Candidate attributes -
• Previous CAD drawing/draughting experience (preferably with knowledge of either Solidworks or AutoCAD)
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings, with knowledge of dimensions and tolerances
• Previous experience within engineering / manufacturing role
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good telephone manner and happy to liaise with customers via phone and/or email
