Highbury has an opportunity for the role of Project Engineer, who must have engineering qualifications, in a fast paced and varied role working predominantly with chemical dosing systems for wastewater treatment in the Water Utility and industry sectors.
The role will cover the build and inspection of dosing units in the workshop and, along with organising delivery, installation and commissioning of in house produced systems. There will also be project and R&D work on new and bespoke systems as well as the day-to-day handson management of the dosing system operation. Core Functions
• Report to Operations Director
• Construction, inspection, delivery, installation and maintenance of dosing systems
• Support sales team and manage customer and supplier relations
• Implementation and maintaining of Equipment logs and relevant maintenance schedules
• Raw material and finished product stock control
• Loading and despatch of equipment
• Support with onsite health and Safety, within the Environmental production area, including issuing of various permits as required
• Onsite engineering, Installations proactive and reactive
• Ensuring all certifications are in place
• Support the Operations Director in managing product development
• Ability to work in line with company policies and procedures
• Ensure flexibility to be able to assist in other parts of the business as and when required
• Supply engineering support across the overall business when required
• Compliance of working in line with Health and Safety Guidance
Skills
• Relevant qualification in Engineering. 2 Grow With OMEX

• Excellent organisational & communication skills
• Ability to work under own initiative and work well in various positions within a team
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills

• Full, clean UK driving license Preferred Skills
• Experience of PLC control systems and 3 phase electrics is desirable, as is experience of wastewater treatment, pumps and flow monitoring equipment.
• A basic understanding of IT equipment
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in spoken English
This is not an exhaustive list of duties, also, in order to help in the efficiency and smooth running of the Company, you must recognise and fully accept that the Company may require you to help in any section of any of the Group Companies, carrying out other work and other duties as the workload so requires, which may involve working at other company sites. Hours of work will be: 7.45am-4.45pm Monday to Friday (with extra hours where necessary to fulfil the job role). UK nationwide travel will be required with occasional fully expensed overnight stays
