£410 - £425 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A primary school in Chester-le-Street (DH3) is seeking a Primary Interventions Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis. The Primary Interventions Teaching Assistant selected will be working across Yr1-Yr4 to deliver small group sessions, predominantly focused around Phonics. Work for these sessions will be set by the class teachers. This is a ‘Good’ School which prides itself on being inclusive of all pupils. Staff are welcoming and there is a real sense of community.

Requirements

The desired Primary Interventions Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team
