Job Description: Retail Travel Agent

Location: Newbury, RG14 5TA
Salary: £18,000 £27,000 per annum
Hours: Flexible 6 days one week, 5 days the next, with a rotating day off during the week (not Saturdays). Willingness to work Saturdays if opting for a 5 day work week. Availability for part time roles on weekdays and Sundays.

Bond Recruitment is currently seeking a vibrant and customer focused Retail Travel Agent to join our team in Newbury. This exciting role offers competitive pay and a flexible work schedule to accommodate both full time and part time availability.

Key Responsibilities:
Assisting customers with travel bookings, including flights, accommodations, tours, and transportation.
Providing expert advice on destinations, travel itineraries, and travel packages to meet customer needs.
Handling reservations, ticketing, and processing payments accurately and efficiently.
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Keeping up to date with travel industry trends, products, and services to provide valuable recommendations to clients.
Managing customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
Collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
Previous experience in a retail travel agency or customer service role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to handle multiple bookings and travel arrangements.
Knowledge of travel booking systems and software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) is advantageous.
Passion for travel and a willingness to learn about new destinations and travel products.
Flexibility in working hours, including weekends, to accommodate the needs of the role.
Enthusiasm and a positive attitude in providing exceptional service to all clients.
