Recruit4Staff are proud to represent our client, a well-established, growing, Wrexham based Engineering Company who specialise in projects across the UK, in their search for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work closely with their project managers from their head office in Wrexham

For the successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor our client is offering:

up to £40,000 - Dependant on experience 
Monday to Friday (Apply online only) 
Permanent

The Role - Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Assist the senior QS and Project Manager - to carry out all contract administration and notices – typically NEC EWNs, CEs, programmes, applications etc
Build good working relationships with clients and represent the business professionally
Prepare and analyse project costings for change control, such as materials, quantities, labour and time
Recognise new commercial risks and elevate issues internally
Value completed work and arrange payments
Handle multiple contracts 
What our client is looking for in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor

BSc in Quantity Surveying or Post Graduate conversions degree (RICS Accredited) - DESIREABLE
if not degree qualified - some exposure in quantity surveying - ESSENTIAL 
Good knowledge and understanding of NEC3 contract/subcontract - DESIREABLE
UK work experience - ESSENTIAL
Key skills or similar Job titles: Commercial Manager, Commercial Surveyor, Project Manager, QS, Quantity Surveyor, Construction Surveyor 

Commutable From: Wrexham, Chirk, Mold, Llay, Broughton, Ruabon, Oswestry, Chester, Deeside
