Salary: £85 - £110 per day

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with complex needs? A supportive and inclusive primary school in Harlow is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.

This rewarding role offers the chance to work closely with children who require additional support, helping them to overcome barriers and achieve their personal and educational goals.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with complex needs, including autism, global developmental delay, physical disabilities, and speech and language difficulties.
Support students with personal care, sensory regulation, and communication needs as required.
Adapt learning materials and strategies to meet individual needs, promoting engagement and progress.
Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external specialists to implement personalized education plans (EHCPs).
Foster a positive, nurturing environment that encourages independence, confidence, and emotional well-being.
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to staff and parents.
Requirements:

Experience supporting children with complex needs or in a similar SEN role is highly desirable.
A patient, empathetic, and resilient attitude.
Understanding of a range of SEN, including ASD, SEMH, sensory processing, and physical disabilities.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to support with personal care tasks if required.
A commitment to promoting inclusion and helping children achieve their potential.
