Package: £40,000 with a Very Attractive, High Earning commission scheme (2nd year realistic OTE of £100k) & a Company Car + Company Benefits.
Location: Covering North England.
Role Overview:
As the Area Sales Manager, your primary focus will be on managing and developing relationships with clients in the roofing materials market. You will work closely with key players in the distribution, offsite, modular, and timber frame markets to grow the company's brand and market share. The role is essential in driving the company’s sales growth by strategically managing your territory and building strong partnerships with clients in the roofing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, targeting Distributors, Offsite Manufacturers, Timber Frame Companies, and Specifiers within the roofing and modular construction sectors.
Strengthen relationships with existing clients, providing excellent service and identifying opportunities for business growth.
Actively engage with key decision-makers in the roofing industry to promote the company’s products and secure new business.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, with a focus on increasing the company’s market share in roofing materials.
Meet and exceed sales targets through effective territory management and proactive client engagement. Experience & Skills Required:
Proven experience in a sales role within the construction materials industry, ideally with a background in roofing products (although not required).
Strong ability to manage relationships with Distributors, Contractors, Specifiers.
Target-driven and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and securing new business.
Experience managing a territory and working independently to achieve goals.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of building long-term relationships with clients. What’s on Offer:
