TXM Recruit is currently searching for a permanent Handyperson/Grounds engineer to work within a facilities management company on one of their commercial contracts in Guildford.

Responsibilities

* Ensure that the fabric and grounds maintenance is carried out to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.

* Responsible for assisting the Fabric Technicians and grounds team with the day-to-day delivery of various fabric works.

* Respond to Building fabric and grounds emergency repairs as needed.

* Carry out painting/redecorating, minor floor repairs, fire alarm tests, minor carpentry works, plumbing works and support the grounds team when required and any task to help the team and contract.

* To undertake the reactive maintenance as well as completing PPMs.

Salary - £26,000

Working hours – 40 hours (Monday – Friday, 6am -3pm)

Requirements

* Minimum of 2-3 years site experience in a similar role, or fabric trade with a recognised trade qualification..

* Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
