Teamforce Labour are currently recruiting a Senior Project Manager for a permanent position with our Client in Leiston!We are looking for an experienced Senior Civils Project Manager to join our client’s team on the Sizewell C project in Leiston, Suffolk. This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects, delivering key civil engineering works in an iconic location.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the civil engineering works, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality, on time, and within budget, while meeting all technical and safety requirements.
Supervise and coordinate site engineers, subcontractors, and other staff, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and a high standard of work.
Act as the primary point of contact with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and resolving any issues that arise.
Ensure all works comply with project specifications, health and safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
Manage project timelines, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the overall project schedule, and identifying and mitigating risks that could impact delivery.
Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and compliance with contractual requirements.
Essential Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering, with specific expertise in drainage, kerbs, service ducts, site clearance, and earthworks.
Strong understanding of civil engineering processes and the ability to manage multiple disciplines within the project scope.
Demonstrated experience in managing teams, motivating staff, and ensuring effective project delivery.
In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, with the ability to enforce compliance and promote a culture of safety on-site.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field. SMSTS (or equivalent) and CSCS card essential.
Must be based or willing to relocate to Leiston, Suffolk for the duration of the project.Why Join Us?
