Housing Liaison Officer

£20 per hour umbrella
Contract (3 months+)
The Role:
To be part of delivering a high quality, consistent, flexible, value for money comprehensive service to all tenants and leaseholders, including tenancy management, new tenancies, and tenancy changes, interviewing service users and dealing with general enquiries.
To be responsible for a range of tenancy management duties and be a visible presence with residents on our estates.
To take part in the organisation's response to emergencies, helping to co-ordinate actions and providing support to residents.
To respond to and manage incidents of low level anti-social behaviour, including harassment, nuisance, and neighbour disputes, taking appropriate action in liaison with the client, Police and other agencies. To take enforcement action to resolve anti-social behaviour and breach of tenancy matters and to refer particularly complex issues to a Senior Housing Officer.
The Candidate:
Working with the general public, preferably in a service delivery setting.
Working in a diverse community
Communicate effectively with the public and members of staff at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
Good understanding of issues relating to social housing.
Ability to work as part of a team and work with others to ensure projects and tasks are completed on time.
Ability to use own initiative and to work under pressure.
Ability to prioritise own workload with a high standard of organisational skills
