Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Welsh lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales across various key stages.
Inspire students to appreciate the Welsh language and heritage through creative and interactive teaching methods.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing tailored support to help them excel.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and innovative teaching strategies.
Participate in school events and extracurricular activities that celebrate Welsh culture and enhance student engagement.
About You
You will need to be a qualified teacher with a strong command of the Welsh language and a passion for education. The ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment while motivating students to reach their potential is essential.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialisation in Welsh.
Experience teaching Welsh, ideally within a secondary school setting.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales and effective assessment methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire learners.
A commitment to promoting linguistic skills, cultural awareness, and academic success.
